How our class works

Don’t miss the chance to join the ultimate Film & TV Acting class for Young Actors in the area!

Our dynamic Acting for the Camera class (ages 10-13 and High School) spans 8 exciting weeks, delving into acting technique, industry know-how, camera performance, auditions, and scene study. Culminate the experience with a thrilling live performance for friends and family.

Emerge from this class not just as an actor, but a confident performer equipped to pursue representation and auditions in the thrilling world of Film & TV! Don't miss out!

Classes are structured with a weekly one-hour session, providing a consistent and focused learning experience. We offer this class multiple times a year and Actors may take multiple sessions as their work continues to grow.

We also offer a Summer Camp experience for both age groups that begins enrollment in March AND special guest classes throughout the year taught by industry professionals!

  • Elementary Actor Summer Camp

    June 10-12 (Ages 8-11)

    Elementary Actors Summer Camp 🎬

    Give your young actor a fun and inspiring introduction to on-camera acting this summer!

    At Cody Mayo Studios — Oklahoma’s premier film & television acting studio — students will spend three exciting days learning the fundamentals of professional acting for the screen. Young actors will explore:

    • Script Analysis
    • Character Development
    • Basic Film Set Education
    • Confidence & Social Skills for Performers

    Throughout the camp, students will rehearse and film a short scene that will be professionally shot and premiered for family and friends at the end of the program.

    🍽 Lunch is provided each day.
    📸 Optional Add-On: One professional headshot during camp. (additional cost)

    This is a fantastic opportunity for young performers to build confidence, creativity, and on-camera skills while training with working professional actors at the best acting school in the state.
